My fascination with astrology began in college and I’ve been a full time practitioner since 2003.
After graduating magna cum laude from the University of Colorado I landed in business, making my way up the ladder to Executive National Director of Marketing and Sales with Encyclopaedia Britannica. In 1988 my focus moved to my family, homeschooling my daughters, going through a divorce and joining the world of entrepreneurship with many projects on my plate in order to continue working from home. Then, my son was born in 1999 with Down Syndrome. When he was four, it became obvious that he also had autism and I let go of all income streams but astrology in order to streamline my life and give him the care that he needs.
My formative years were spent in both the Middle East and Southeast Asia, raised in a missionary family and very much a TCK - Third Culture Kid. As an adult I lived and worked in the San Francisco Bay Area and Washington DC, but Boulder CO is where I have put down roots since 1989 after retiring from corporate America. I tell people that I am an astrologer, but mostly, I am a practical mystic at heart, with a love for the never ending investigation into life and its mysteries. To my mastery of Astrology, I bring a solid working knowledge of Numerology, Human Design, I Ching, Tarot, Psychology, and Coaching.
My Approach
My approach to readings continues to evolve and is an ecclectic synthesis of approaches spanning the decades of being a student / practioner of astrology. I have emersed myself in and deeply studied humanistic, transpersonal and psychological astrology, karmic and evolutionary astrology, as well as traditional and hellenistc astrology.
The bedrock I continue to lay foundations on is with Jeffrey Wolf Green’s Evolutionary Astrology, so expect your first reading to start out with a look at what your past and present life cycles can tell us about what your eternal soul’s intention for evolution and growth might be in this lifetime, within the context of our 3D reality on planet Earth
I see a chart as the energies of that magical moment of one’s birth imprinted upon our being and giving us a glimpse into understanding who we are as a personality and the deeper intentions and timings of this lifetime. This is reflective of the mysterious holographic “As above, So Below” nature of our reality that cannot be so easily defined or explained. Astrology is a divination tool that allows the unknown to communicate with the known. I am very comfortable using symbols and signs to help bring deeper meaning and understanding into our lives, and we all have our unique reaons for wanting to explore this ancient oracle. I honour our time together as a personal and sacred time for you.
